We assess each situation individually and will waive fees as needed to ensure you receive the PrEP and PEP services you need. No one is turned away due to inability to pay; everyone is welcome here.
Our tests and other medications are priced at a low cost to make it affordable; we are not able to provide these completely free at this time.
The Vallarta Gay+ Community Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering empowerment, health, and wellness within the LGBTQ+ community. We provide equitable access to healthcare, education, and support services, with focused care for the prevention and treatment of HIV and STIs.
We advocate for our communityâs equity and inclusion as a vital component of our regionâs diverse society, providing a safe and inclusive environment to drive positive change locally and beyond.
For your first visit, itâs recommended to bring a valid ID and any relevant medical records. If youâre seeking specific services like PrEP, ensure you have any necessary documentation or information that might assist in your evaluation. Itâs also advisable to bring a form of payment for any suggested donations associated with the services you plan to utilize.
Upon arrival, youâll be welcomed by our friendly staff and may be asked to fill out our easy and fast online registration form. If youâre accessing medical services, a nurse will conduct preliminary tests, followed by a consultation with a doctor to discuss your health needs and medical history.
Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all visitors.
While the PrEP medication is provided free of charge, there are suggested donations to cover associated expenses such as electricity, rent, tests, supplies, and personnel costs. However, if youâre unable to make a donation, please let us know. We assess each situation individually and will waive fees as needed to ensure you receive the care and services you need.
